Well, cause, I spent it working! As a contractor. Setting up my very first Sze Accessories promo at 1st floor, Isetan The Gardens @ Mid Valley Mega Mall. Although not the typical celebratory preferance, I must say I really had no regrets. Thus begins our first leg of our promotion which starts from the 1st January 2010 and will last until the 10th of January 2010, which is next Sunday.

It's been a tiring few months but it was a great end to 2009 and a fantastic start to 2010. There has been so much going on at the same time. I just hope and pray for that super-natural strength from above to help me through this wonderfully challenging times. I know it's going to get better but it's not without your huge support. So, if you're free on the weekends or if your office is at Mid Valley's Centre Point, do pop by and you'll find a few trinkets to bring home yourself.

Below will be some pictures to share of our set up on the 31st December 2009, Friday after the retailer closed for the day. What an experience....going through the loading/ docking bays, carrying easels and setting up the counter. It's been a long process but I've had the best fiance in the whole world (must apple polish a bit here) who not only supported me in many ways that I couldn't possibly imagine. He got his whole family (who are all very successful working professionals) to come and help me prepare the stocks for the promotions. Well, they did so willingly and without a push. In fact, they kept coming back for 3-4 straight days in a row to help label price tags, do stock take, help count the pieces...ect...ect. And they were also the ones that were the first to wake me up today (the morning after) to head over to see the promo first thing this very new year's morning. And they bought a lot of pieces (Note: Early birds get the best worms) and suprisingly chose a few favourites that sold out today!

Yes, I repeat= SOLD OUT! Can you believe it? Very first day (1st January 2010) at the selling floor and there were already a few items that were flying off the shelves. I really can't 'quite' believe it myself. But through it all, I've learnt so much and been so grateful that things are finally seeing a little uplift. But the best knowledge that came out of this is that I'm marrying into a wonderful, extremely supportive and kind family that's full of excitement, enthusiasm and encouragement. Boy am I BLESS outta my socks!
