Clive Oct 09

I never noticed that men's magazines were not as reasonable as women's magazine. While paying for 2 copies, I compared the thickness of it to the likes of KLUE and Juice, which came up to be about the same width but this copy was a whopping RM9. Female magazines with tripple the "thicknest" only cost RM7-RM8. I was wondering, "What's in there that makes it so interesting?". But I didn't have to flip too far.

On the front cover was a shoot done by Stylist Jayen Chow with model Jayne Chen (who has countless people telling her she looks like Lucy Liu). Note the similarity in their names. Not the same people though. But anyway, as I was saying, it probably pays to have such a gorgeous female fatale on it's covers. Jayne travelled all the way to Malaysia on her own from the U.S. and manage to secure this shoot with Clive just days before she was leaving. Don't be fooled by the vixen shots, she's really down to earth and sweet. She also blends into the Malaysian culture very well if not for her heavy American accent that gives her away.

All the best girl! :)
