Martell Rising Personalities Award 2009: Press Launch

Finally, after all the weeks of preperations, the award took off with a full fledge press launch at Studio 99, on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. It was a little bistro in the midst of a furniture decor store with a real modern feel and twist to it. A little "water feature" ran through the middle of the venue and gave it a zen and peaceful feel.

One could not miss the place, as it also sat at the corner of Jalan Tun Razak and had the Martell V.S.O.P Rising Personalities Award 2009 decals all over the glass panes. Pretty ladies dressed in glamorous red outfits welcomed us with a choice of cognac on the rock or their signature concoction which was mixed with ginger, sprite and lemon. I prefer my drinks as is, but I have to say that I took one sip of that signature drink and was hooked. It was so good!
