Singapore Aug 2010

Travelling is always a great time to trend watch and see what other nations are dolling up for the season. The most recent trip to SINGAPORE was a pleasant eye candy seeing how the Singaporeans love to shop.

Choices are amass! I feel a headache coming each time I'm in one of the malls. But good thing, we have guides in the form of fashion magazines helping us decide, whats in for the season. So, I picked out my fav, Elle Singapore and picked up a few accessory trends that I thought you'd like to know.

.

I've also pieced together some pieces that we are selling at Isetan Gardens until the 26th Aug 2010 right next to the spotted trends. These pieces are available for your viewing leisure but the pieces are limited. Each designs has only 2-4 pieces each. So, do hurry over to Isetan if they strike your fancy.

Details

Venue: Sze @ Isetan The Gardens (Mid Valley, KL), 1st Floor Date: 13th-26th August 2010 (2 weeks/ 14 days) Time: 10am-9:30pm

Above: One of my favourite magazines. Elle Singapore- with Rihanna on the front cover in cool tones of pearly whites and a tinge of black. Sze Accessories pieces available at the Isetan Gardens thematically matches this look of the season. Think lots of pearls, layered necklaces, black enamels, dusty pink and silver metalic touches.

Above: Spoted. Colour trend of the season. Lots of blue, purple, yellow and neon green shades. Note, Sze Accessories rings and bangles for you to layer and stack in the same bright and cheery hues. When wearing a plain outfit, spruce them up with a shocking accessory piece to add a fashionable pop touch. Available at Isetan The Gardens.

Above: Of course, the favourite brand of the season is still the little sista of the infamous Prada. The current Miu Miu fever has not died down yet, with lots of pastel purple and the iconic embroidered petals stealing the show in contrast to Chanel's black and white. Available at Isetan The Gardens.

Another fun trip with lots of new things and old (re-visited). Again , Singapore never fails to amuse me with lots of newness and constant change. Not sure when I'll head back again, but for now, browsing the Lonely Planet Europe will be top of my list for a upcoming (long awaited) honeymoon!

Till then! More updates soon!
