Sze Accessories: Sweet Seventeen Makeover Party

When I was growing up, I read a lot of maga. I literally had book shelves filled with Seventeen and Girlfriend. Back then, they were imported issues as we didn't have locally published ones. It was awesome. A glimpse into a whole different culture of fashion, dressups, accessorising and all things fashion. Not forgetting all the really helpful info that you don't learn in school about the birds and the bees, personal hygiene and every little info that you're too shy to ask your mama.

Well, I grew up too quick reading those magazines cause they were not in line with our then conservative Asian culture. But now, we've got our very own local Seventeen magazine that has been an awesome favourite with the teens. By then, I had already graduated to In Style. Boo Hoo!

However, I get to re-live my pre-teen years by attending a Seventeen Party this weekend. Saturday to be precise! Cause Clinique and Seventeen are throwing a party for 60 young chicas. This absolutely fun yearly affair has entertained many a teens throughout the years. And it's always a blast.

They always choose the most happening venues and this year it's going to be at ROOTZ! So, just for the day, even if you're below 21, you're allowed to go into the club, learn about skincare, learn how to put on proper makeup (and actually go hands on), have your nails done and be entertained.

This year, Sze Accessories is priviledge to be apart of the Seventeen Clinique Teen Party. We (well, I) will be personally there to teach you how to make your own accessories. Think velvet bookmark thongs and ribbon necklaces. We'll provide the tools, beads, charms and ribbons to play with. You get to even take home the piece of accessory that you make. And all this- FOC (well, after you've paid the super minimal registration fee of RM60)!
